Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Showcase is operated by Elene Gvatua, Georgia. For any privacy question, contact support@showcasegem.com.

2. What we collect

  • Account data: your email address and (optionally) your name.
  • Images you upload: the product photos you submit, and the images we generate from them. Uploaded images are automatically screened for prohibited content before processing.
  • Usage data: how you use the app (pages visited, photos generated), for reliability and improvement.
  • Payment data: handled entirely by Creem, our Merchant of Record. We never see or store your card details.

3. Why we use it

To provide and operate the service, process your payments, respond to support requests, prevent abuse, and improve the product.

4. Legal basis (GDPR / UK GDPR)

We process your data to perform our contract with you, on the basis of our legitimate interests (security, improvement), and with your consent where required.

5. Who we share it with (sub-processors)

We use trusted providers to run Showcase:

  • Supabase — hosting, database, image storage
  • fal.ai — AI image processing
  • Creem — payments and merchant of record
  • Lovable / Vercel — application hosting
  • Our email provider — transactional emails (e.g. login links)

Your images may be processed on servers outside your country, including in the United States. We do not sell your data, and we do not use your images to train AI models.

6. How long we keep it

We keep your images and account data while your account is active. You can delete your images at any time, and you can request full deletion of your account and data by emailing support@showcasegem.com.

7. Your rights

If you are in the EU/UK, you have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your data, and to object to or restrict processing. Contact support@showcasegem.com and we will respond within 30 days.

8. Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you logged in, and basic analytics cookies to understand usage. You can control cookies in your browser.

9. Security

We use industry-standard measures including encryption in transit, access controls, and per-user data isolation. No system is perfectly secure, but we take this seriously.

10. Children

Showcase is not intended for anyone under 18.

11. Changes

We may update this policy and will note the date above.
